Robert Hill Band featuring Rae Simone

Robert Hill, originally from North Little Rock Arkansas, has been living in the New York area for the past 30 years. He was inducted into the New York Blues Hall of Fame in 2014. His latest release, “Revelation,” made the recent Grammy ballot, for Best Traditional Blues Album, and has been charting on the RMR, NACC, UK IBBA, and Australian Blues & Roots charts since its release in September 2022.

An award-winning artist, not only for his slide guitar work, but also for his songwriting, winning in numerous songwriting competitions including Billboard, Unisong, and the ISC, Robert has shared the stage with Jaimoe, (Allman Bros.), Duane Betts, (Allman Betts Band), Levon Helm, (The Band), John McEuen, (Nitty Gritty Dirt Band), Kim Simmonds, (Savoy Brown), Rick Danko, (The Band), Rory Block, Debbie Davies, and numerous others.

Rae Simone brings a background rooted in blues, Motown, jazz, R&B and soul, with Aretha Franklin and Ray Charles as major influences. Her vocals have been featured in Rolling Stone article, Weed Mike, a conversation with Mike Tyson. Her single, “All I’ve Got,” has been receiving critical acclaim since its release in 2022. Her deeply soulful voice, presence, and delivery have that undeniable star quality.

Jonathan Frith

Jonathan Frith was born in Brooklyn, NY, in 1970, to Bermudian parents. Consequently, he jockeyed back and forth from the gritty streets of New York, to the sublime ocean-country of Bermuda, which explains some of the duality of his songwriting perspective.

His father, Michael K. Frith, worked with Jim Henson and The Muppets as head of Art and Design, creating Miss Piggy and Fraggle Rock, among other characters and shows. By age 5, Jonathan was literally living in the unparalleled universe of the Muppets. Surrounded by Puppeteers, puppet-builders, writers, singers, artists, actors, and the over-arching presence of ground-breaking creative genius, Jonathan couldn’t help but be absorbed into the creative spirit. He started writing songs at age 13, and was soon recording and playing to living room audiences.

Originally intending to become a Political Cartoonist, Jonathan ultimately earned a BFA in film and video from the Rhode Island School of Design in 1993. He is the author of over 30 short stories (some award-winning), several volumes of poetry, and “The Wazoo Bowl”, a novel for children. He is also the illustrator of the “Sporty Little Field Guide To Bermuda.”
