KJ Denhert is excited to announce the first installment of the 2025 All About The Song series, a night of music, storytelling, and connection that marks the beginning of another season dedicated to the power of original songwriting. Opening night will take place right here at the Towne Crier on Friday, March 28!
The featured artist is the incredibly talented singer-songwriter Rebecca McCartney, who will open the night accompanied by guitarist Mark McIntyre—a 10-year member of KJ’s band, The NY Unit, and a frequent collaborator of Rebecca’s. Their chemistry is undeniable, and this performance adds yet another rich layer to the vibrant musical community that KJ has always hoped to bring to this series.
As always, expect familiar faces and fresh voices—veteran performers from the series, like Michele Gedney and Jenn Clapp, will join us, along with a song from Mark this month. Each show in this series feels like a songwriter’s variety show, a place where music, stories, and connection take center stage.
KJ says, “Life in the U.S. right now is filled with uncertainty and tension, and I know we all feel it. But this music—this night—is my gift to all of us. A space to reflect, to lift each other up, and to share songs that speak to both the struggles we face and the hope that carries us forward. Let’s come together to sing, dream, and bolster hope for many tomorrows. Save the date – March 28 – and join us for an evening to remember!”
