We are really excited to present The Tide Is High, a fantastic celebration of the ’70s and ’80s top hits with a reggae vibe, performed by the world-class ensemble, Eddie Skuller’s Reggae Jukebox Band. With songs made famous by Blondie, UB40, Culture Club, Bonnie Raitt and Maxi Priest, the show features tunes written by Paul Simon, Neil Diamond, Cat Stevens, Gerry Rafferty and Peter Frampton among other greats.
Eddie Skuller’s strong, soulful voice takes center stage highlighting the mainstream appeal reggae has always had on pop music. Skuller has received numerous accolades in the music press including the New York Times which said, “he has the kind of voice people like to label. Comparisons range from Roy Orbison to George Michael to even Cher.”
Under the direction of bassist Steve Capecci, the Reggae Jukebox Band features Ryan Bria and Justin Sabaj on guitars, Derek Brown on keyboards and Ramsey Norman on drums.
