Come ring in 2024 with us and enjoy great food and powerhouse performances by three high-energy bands: Chris O’Leary Band, Dan Brother Band and Boom Kat. For the last couple of years we’ve had the pleasure of hosting Chris’ and Dan’s bands on New Year’s Eve; these guys never fail to raise the roof with their exciting performances. This year we welcome the addition of Boom Kat, one of our favorite local duos!
We’re offering a fabulous prix fixe, multi-course meal (the menu will be posted soon) that includes dessert and a champagne toast at midnight, created by our Executive Chef Daniel Gugliuzza and our renowned Pastry Chef Mary Ciganer.
Dinner, show and the champagne toast is $150 per person ($140 to members), tax, service and gratuity included.
Show and champagne toast is $60 advance, $65 door if available.
We hope you’ll join us for what promises to be a memorable night with timeless music and good company!
About the bands:
Chris O’Leary’s musical background includes duties as lead singer and front man for Rock and Roll Hall of Famer and Grammy Award winner Levon Helm’s band, The Barnburners. During the 6 years that Chris and Levon played together they toured across the US and Canada lighting up stages everywhere they went. Chris has appeared on stage with: Legendary Rolling Stones sideman Bobby Keys, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Jimmy Vivino, Jeff Healy, Steely Dan, Albert Lee, Dave Edmunds, Dave Maxwell and the great James Cotton to name just a few.
Dan Brother began his guitar-playing and singing career under the tutelage of such master bluesmen as Bill Perry, Popa Chubby, Murali Coryell and Little Sammy Davis, among others. Since his teens, Dan Brother has been performing in venerable blues clubs throughout the region. Having shared the stage with mentors like his, it’s no wonder Dan picked up a little of everything along the way – from protest-era psychedelia to straight-up blues; classic era soul to southern rock and Texas twang. Dan’s fans expect a mix of blues, soul, rock & roll, and the band accommodates, with sets that go from low-down monstrous slow blues to booty-grooving ecstatic funk.
Opening the show is husband-and-wife duo Boom Kat, who dub themselves “a roving acoustic show with shenanigans galore.” Sounds like a great way to start a New Year’s Eve celebration!
