The Cinelli Brothers

Are you ready for the 21st century British Invasion? The best blues/rock band in the U.K. is coming to America!

The Cinelli Brothers,
based in London, has a huge and devoted following in the U.K. and Europe, where they’ve been tearing up the club and festival scene for the past few years. They were awarded the 2024 Blues Band of the Year by the UK Blues Federation. With roots in blues and soul and the British blues/rock bands of the ’60s, the band’s original music has elements of blues, funk, soul and jazz which together produce a wonderful stew that folks are calling “New Blues.” They play predominantly original material at their shows as well as some blues standards, which they play with an excitement and vitality that is distinctive in today’s blues scene.

While growing up in Italy, brothers Marco and Alessandro Cinelli became captivated by American blues and rock. Marco started playing guitar at age 11 and Alessandro’s been behind a drum kit since he was 7. After studying at a prestigious Italian music school and then honing their skills in France and the Netherlands, the brothers reunited in London in 2017 and soon after that, The Cinelli Brothers was born. Completing the quartet are Tom Julian-Jones (a London native) and Stephen Giry (from France).

Their new album, recorded last year in Woodstock, was officially released in January 2024 at The Cutting Room, NYC, to a packed house, and has been the most played album by the IBBA (U.K. Independent Blues Broadcasters Association) in February and March of 2024.

An outstanding live band, they thrill audiences with high energy performances, four-part vocals, superb musicianship (and frequent instrument-swapping), charisma, humor and palpable joy in playing.
