Professor Louie & The Crowmatix’s repertoire is steeped in rock, blues, gospel and American roots music. PL&C began as the studio backing band for Aaron Professor Louie’s musical productions & collaborations with the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Inductees, The Band.
This Grammy-nominated group from Woodstock has performed at high-profile venues and festivals internationally. Professor Louie & Miss Marie have performed many times on The Legendary Rhythm & Blues Cruise.
Professor Louie & The Crowmatix have been inducted into Blues Hall Of Fame, New York Chapter and hold a permanent place in the Canada South Blues Museum. Professor Louie is the recipient of The Robert H. Chambers Award for Excellence in the Traditional Arts from Common Ground On The Hill.
