Jeremy Schonfeld is a versatile Billboard-charting singer/songwriter, composer, performer, producer, and award-winning filmmaker. His current project, the music-driven conceptual feature film “The Father Who Stayed,” is making the rounds at film festivals and has been featured in sold-out benefit screenings throughout the first half of 2024. Recently, “The Father Who Stayed” picked up awards for Best Original Song from The Seattle Film Festival, and was honored with a silver medal for lyrics/songwriting at the Global Music Awards.
Additional albums include “Iron & Coal,” “Drift,” “37 Notebooks,” “Blue Skies and All,” and “Brooklyn to Beacon.” Jeremy is proud to have written for and recorded with an array of talented Broadway and film/TV artists through the years, including Broadway’s Tracie Thoms, Lena Hall, Donnie Kehr, Shoshana Bean, Adam Pascal, and Christian Campbell.
Jeremy’s songs have been featured as both singles and in performance for charitable organizations including Broadway in South Africa, Equity Fights AIDS, Rockers on Broadway, The Broadway Dreams Foundation, and The Felix Organization. NY Gay Men’s Chorus even featured Jeremy’s song, “House of Love, in their Town Hall Holiday Show aptly titled, “The Holiday House of Love”!
Jeremy and celebrity Frankie Grande’ have teamed up to record two singles written by Jeremy including the Billboard-charting “Queen” and the follow up single, “I Got Me” recently performed by Frankie as the opening performance for the Pride Parade in NYC.
