Jacob Bernz and Chris Knoeppel: Ballads from Beacon

Complimentary with Dinner

Our Salon Stage provides Complimentary Live Music while you dine. We feature amazing local Hudson Valley and touring artists nightly. Join us for dinner and you may discover one of your new favorite artists. As always, we prioritize seating for guests who are joining us for dinner. We also provide a great Tap Room for enjoying a cocktail or beer while listening to the live music on our Salon Stage.

Jacob Bernz has become a local fixture of the music scene here in Beacon. He grew up playing the small riverfront festivals started by Pete Seeger at an early age. Now in his 30s, he can be found running Beacon’s own independent stringed instrument store by day and traveling the Hudson Valley to different small venues by night. Jacob’s music defies genres but lands somewhere in the Americana realm.

Chris Knoeppel sings and plays with a subtle power that invites listeners in to hear the true meaning behind the songs. His debut album, “Temporary Hobos,” was released in 2019 and features all original songs. Chris doesn’t use any form of pick on his instrument, instead opting for a straight-forward finger style that defines each note behind his vocals. Chris also enjoys showcasing other artists’ songs but listen close and you’ll hear that it sounds altogether new.

This night will feature original tunes and ballads from across the land reflecting on the times we are living in. This is the first appearance for both songwriters playing together, and promises to be a great night of music.
