She is currently putting the finishing touches on a new album that will be released in 2023.

Sloan Wainwright is a songwriter, singer, performer, teacher, mentor and collaborator. Over the course of a 30-year career in music, she has played the great concert halls, the most storied listening rooms and top music festivals while also teaching at the nation’s leading music retreats. She has inspired hundreds of students on their creative journeys and collaborated with dozens of musicians, writers, choreographers and performers.

KJ Denhert is an award winning songwriter, guitarist, vocalist and bandleader whose soulful and smoky vocal stylings are earthy and elegant. Her lyrics embody the romance and poetry of the American Songbook.  KJ’s music is both a rich tapestry of Urban Folk & Jazz and a reflection of the fiery time of cultural upheaval in which she lived. Echoes of James Taylor, Joni Mitchel, Carole King, Laura Nyro, and Steely Dan’s combine with KJ’s own unique musical voice to create music that is both unique and relevant today. She’s won 7 Independent Music Awards, the John Lennon Songwriting Contest, and has released ten albums with an eleventh due in spring 2023.

As a performer, venues of note in NYC include the Blue Note, City Winery, Highline Ballroom, Living Room, Irish Arts Center and Rockwood Music Hall. She’s played Chicago’s Schubas & Uncommon Ground, and in Dublin, Whelans & Sugar Club. In response to the Covid 19 pandemic, Emily launched a music initiative called “A Song for You” writing, recording & sending original personalized songs to first responders, patients & families hit hardest by the pandemic, primarily those at the end of life. This project has recently grown into its own non-profit & features songs of local, touring, & Grammy-award winning songwriters.  Her “A Song for You” music initiative has recently been featured on NBC, Medium, Upworthy and a full article in People Magazine.
