Animal Tails (Storytelling) & Performance by Stephen Clair

On New Year’s Day, Dutchess County SPCA hosts Animal Tails, a storytelling event where animal lovers will share stories of animals who changed their lives for the better. Then celebrated singer-songwriter Stephen Clair will take the stage for a solo set of his acclaimed songs.

Many of us, if not most of us, have had an experience with an animal that changed us (and our lives) for the better. Maybe you adopted a dog who made you feel unconditionally loved for the first time, or you found a connection with a wild animal. Did you grow up with a cat who taught you to appreciate the little things in life?

Stephen Clair first came to prominence when WFUV pronounced its love for “Jen In Her Underwear,” putting him not only on the map, but the road. Since then he has performed more than a thousand shows. Stephen released his 9th album, “To the Trees,” this spring.

If you’re interested in telling a story about an animal who changed you (and your life) for the better, please submit your idea at https://secure.everyaction.com/kIsziIpRQE-sXi4Bhe0zuQ2. The Dutchess County SPCA will let you know by Dec. 15 if your story has been chosen.

Entry is free but there is a 1 entrée minimum for all guests. Reservations are required. Please call (845) 855-1300 to book your table.
