DESCRIPTION:Stephane Wrembel\, recognized as one of the preeminent guitaris
 ts globally\, specializes in the style of Django Reinhardt. With a career 
 spanning the globe\, he has released 18 recordings and toured incessantly 
 since 2003. His original compositions have been featured in Midnight in Pa
 ris (“Bistro Fada”) and Vicky Cristina Barcelona (“Big Brother”). 
 Midnight in Paris received the Grammy Award®  for Best Compilation Sound
 track. He has shared the stage with iconic artists like Elvis Costello\, P
 atti Smith\, The Roots\, Medeski Martin &amp\; Wood\, and many more. His a
 nnual music festival\, “Django A Gogo\,” has gained global recognition
  as a premier event celebrating Django Reinhardt’s life and music.\n\nWr
 embel is releasing of a triptych–a three-part recording series—on Wate
 r Is Life Records. Phase I was released on April 12\, followed by Phase II
  on April 19\, and Phase III on April 26\, 2024. The triptych\, available 
 now on three CDs\, features improvisational pianist Jean-Michel Pilc and i
 ncludes new original compositions by Wrembel and Pilc as well as select pi
 eces by Django Reinhardt.\n\nJean-Michel Pilc\, acclaimed for his improvis
 ational prowess\, is a pianist and composer with a distinguished career. H
 e has performed alongside jazz legends worldwide\, served as the musical d
 irector and pianist for Harry Belafonte\, and engaged in memorable duets w
 ith opera singer Jessye Norman. Pilc has released several recordings with 
 his trio and gained acclaim as a solo performer\, with five critically acc
 laimed solo piano records. Currently residing in Montreal\, he is a member
  of the Jazz Faculty at The Schulich School of Music of McGill University.
