 listening to the live music on our Salon Stage.\n\nRaquel Vidal is a singe
 r-songwriter whose songs have been described as “darkly cinematic…voic
 ing a bittersweet optimism” by New York Music Daily. Her lyrics explore 
 the dark corridors of the authentic human experience\, ultimately revealin
 g the light\, wit and wisdom seeping through. Confessional guitar and pian
 o ballads and swampy rhythmic guitar stomps are equally at home in her set
 s\, both solo and on recordings with the band Diamond Hotel.\n\nOne of the
  co-founders of Writing A Song That Matters with Dar Williams songwriting 
 retreats\, she runs songwriting workshops there several times a year and l
 oves the thriving songwriting community that continues to flourish after o
 ver a decade. She is currently in the studio putting finishing touches on 
 a solo EP full of pandemic-infused epiphanies called “It’s Complicated
 ” and is wrapping a full length Diamond Hotel album\, “Imagining the S
