 cian\, producer\, and audio engineer known for his deep connection to root
 s\, blues\, and Americana music. Originally from the Midwest\, Hugh’s mu
 sical style was shaped by classic rock\, blues\, and folk influences. A ma
 sterful guitarist\, vocalist\, and harmonica player\, he performs as a sol
 o artist and with his acclaimed duo Mulebone\, alongside multi-instrumenta
 list John Ragusa.\n\nHugh’s music\, which Jon Pareles of The New York Ti
 mes praised as evoking “1960s rock that is steeped in the blues\,” spa
 ns a repertoire that ranges from “rolling-and-tumbling slide-guitar boog
