SUMMARY:Grayson Hugh with Polly Messer\; special guest Route One
DESCRIPTION:Please note: This is a rescheduled show from March 21. Tickets
purchased for that show will be honored for this date.\n\nBursting on the
music scene with his 1988 RCA release “Blind To Reason\,” Grayson Hugh
has been wowing audiences around the world ever since with his soulful si
nging\, virtuoso piano playing and poetic lyrics. His songs have been call
ed “a soul-rock stew\, with a dash of blues and a pinch of country” (S
tone Phillips\, The Today Show) and his voice has been compared to soul le
gends Sam Cooke and Otis Redding. His piano playing has been called “a v
eritable cyclone of soul\, drawing its energy from such diverse regions as
the swampland funk of Professor Longhair\, the testifying soul of Ray Cha
rles\, with the rhythms of African drumming and bluegrass thrown in the mi
 x.” (Benny Metten\, Ctrl. Alt. Country\, August\, 2010)\n\nPerforming wi
th Grayson is his wife and harmony singer Polly Messer\, a former member o
f the Western swing band Eight To The Bar and the New York-based rockabill
y band Eugene Chrysler.\n\nAfter three decades of hits in radio and in Osc
ar-winning films (Thelma &amp\; Louise”\, “Fried Green Tomatoes”) Gr
ayson Hugh has a new record called “Save Your Love For Me.” It’s a c
ollection of 13 new songs by Grayson\, written in a roots country style\,
as well as his arrangement of the Hank Williams classic “I’m So Loneso
me I Could Cry”. Besides Grayson and Polly\, this album features some of
the top names in roots music: 5 time Grammy winner Cindy Cashdollar on do
bro and lap steel guitar\, acoustic bassist Tony Garnier (long time member
of Bob Dylan’s band)\, Pete Kennedy on guitar\, mandolin and banjo (The
Kennedys\, Nanci Griffith\, Emmylou Harris)\, and Gary Oleyar on fiddle a
nd guitar\, who has toured and recorded Jim Messina\, with Marty Stuart\,
Alan Jackson\, Patrica Yearwood) and drummer Tyger MacNeal has played with
Grayson\, blues legend Johnny Winter\, Jose Feliciano and The Average Whi
te Band.\n\nRoute One (Mikal Federici &amp\; Anna Savchuk) is a singer/son
gwriter duo formed in 2024\, in Asheville\, North Carolina. Following the
aftermath of Hurricane Helene\, the pair moved north\, resettling in Warwi
ck\, N.Y. With scores of clever and catchy original music\, as well as a h
andful of complimentary covers\, Route One touches on notes of folk\, pop\
, rock and blues\, combining the standard musical forms into a package tha
t is all their own. Between sweet\, mellifluous harmonies\, shadowy minor-
key pieces\, or charging rock progressions\, Route One explores the range
of the American musical idiom\, with lyrical content that does just the sa
me. The clean\, unburdened two-piece arrangement between Federici &amp\; S
avchuk gives listeners a chance to connect with both the duo and the songs
they deliver\, making for intimate performances audiences are sure to rem
 ember.\n\nTickets $20 advance\, $25 door\n\nALL SALES ARE FINAL\n\nDINNER
