DESCRIPTION:Please note: Due to the popularity of our Thursday Open Mic Nig
 ht\, we are making some adjustments to the sign-up process. The current sy
 stem has resulted in us having to turn people away due to all slots being 
 quickly filled. In an effort to be fair and accommodating to everyone\, we
  are implementing the following guidelines:\n\n– in person sign up betwe
 en 4-6 p.m. on Thursday\;\n\n– online sign up between 12-3 p.m. on Thurs
 day\; please email openmic@townecrier.com – we’re no longer taking cal
 ls. If you sign up and don’t attend or don’t cancel before 5 p.m.\, yo
 u’ll no longer be eligible to sign up online\;\n\n– he first 18 sign u
 ps go into our lottery and are allotted  2 songs per person. Each additio
 nal sign up we limit to 1 song. If it’s a slow night and time allows\, w
 e could increase it to 3 songs per person.\n\n– All performers MUST be p
 resent at 6:30 p.m.\, when we will draw the lottery for order of performan
 ce slots.\n\nSteve Kirkman is our host this week!\n\nOur Open Mic Night wa
 s voted Best of Hudson Valley. For more than 25 years\, the Towne Crier’
 s legendary Open Mic Nights have drawn top talent from throughout the Huds
 on Valley and beyond\, Known as a true “listening room\,” it provides 
 artists with a respectful performance space\, and live music fans with the
  best entertainment value around.\n\nThere is a $10 minimum for everyone i
 n attendance – performers and audience members – which can be applied 
 to food and beverage purchases.\n\nReservations suggested\; call 845-855-1
