DESCRIPTION:Please note: Due to the popularity of our Thursday Open Mic Nig
 ht\, we are making some adjustments to the sign-up process. The current sy
 stem has resulted in us having to turn people away due to all slots being 
 quickly filled. In an effort to be fair and accommodating to everyone\, we
  are implementing the following guidelines:\n\n– in person sign up betwe
 en 4-6 p.m. on Thursday\;\n\n– online sign up between 12-3 p.m. on Thurs
 day\; please email openmic@townecrier.com – we’re no longer taking cal
 ls. If you sign up and don’t attend or don’t cancel before 5 p.m.\, yo
 u’ll no longer be eligible to sign up online\;\n\n– the first 18 sign 
 ups go into our lottery and are allotted  2 songs per person. Each additi
 onal sign up we limit to 1 song. If it’s a slow night and time allows\, 
 we could increase it to 3 songs per person.\n\n– All performers MUST be 
 present at 6:30 p.m.\, when we will draw the lottery for order of performa

 the best entertainment value around.\n\nThere is a $10 minimum for everyon
 e in attendance – performers and audience members – which can be appli
