DESCRIPTION:\n\nPlease note: Due to the popularity of our Thursday Open Mic
  Night\, we are making some adjustments to the sign-up process. The curren
 t system has resulted in us having to turn people away due to all slots be
 ing quickly filled. In an effort to be fair and accommodating to everyone\
 , we are implementing the following guidelines:\n\n– in person sign up b
 etween 4-6 p.m. on Thursday\;\n\n– online sign up between 12-3 p.m. on T
 hursday\; please email openmic@townecrier.com – we’re no longer taking
  calls. If you sign up and don’t attend or don’t cancel before 5 p.m.\
 , you’ll no longer be eligible to sign up online\;\n\n– All performers
  MUST be present at 6:30 p.m.\, when we will draw the lottery for order of
  performance slots.\n\n– The normal limit is 2 songs per person. After w
 e exceed 18 sign-ups\, we’ll limit each performer after to 1 song.\n\n&n

 ted Best of Hudson Valley. For more than 25 years\, the Towne Crier’s le
 gendary Open Mic Nights have drawn top talent from throughout the Hudson V
 alley and beyond\, Known as a true “listening room\,” it provides arti
 sts with a respectful performance space\, and live music fans with the bes
 t entertainment value around.\n\nThere is a $10 minimum for everyone in at
 tendance – performers and audience members – which can be applied to f
