SUMMARY:Brunch with the Richard Baratta Latin/Jazz Quartet – Salon Stage
DESCRIPTION:\nComplimentary with Brunch\n\n\nOur Salon Stage provides Compl
imentary Live Music while you dine. We feature amazing local Hudson Valley
and touring artists on weekends. Join us for brunch and you may discover
one of your new favorite artists. As always\, we prioritize seating for gu
ests who are joining us for dinner. We also provide a great Tap Room for e
njoying a cocktail or beer while listening to the live music on our Salon
Stage.\n\nRichard Baratta has worn many hats over the decades: master drum
mer\, Grammy nominee\, film producer\, musician\; but his latest headwear
takes us down a nostalgic road of classic rock and soul recordings from th
e mid to late 1960s.\n\nBaratta returned to his original love\, music\, af
ter a very successful 35 year career in the film business. With over 50 ye
ars of experience as a jazz drummer\, he enjoys the free flowing innovativ
e sensibility that he applies to his work in the film industry. As 30-year
member of the Directors Guild of America\, as well as the Producers Guild
of America\, Baratta has worked on many Academy Award-nominated films\, i
ncluding “Donnie Brasco\,” “The Wolf Of Wall Street\,” “The Iris
hman\,” “Joker” and others.\n\nSince 2020 Baratta has recorded six p
rojects\, most notably the album “Music in Film” featuring Grammy nomi
nated track “Chopsticks\,” with his current working band of Vincent He
rring\, Bill O’Connell\, Paul Bollenback\, Michael Goetz and Paul Rossma
 n. “Music In Film The Sequel\,” is a similar follow up\, building and
exploring more film compositions. “Off The Charts\,” the fourth projec
t was a critically acclaimed\, audience favorite\, looking back at some of
the classic B-sides of Jazz from the 1970s\, with musicians\, John Patitu
cci\, Jerry Bergonzi\, David Kikoski\, and Paul Rossman. All three of thes
e recording spent many weeks on Jazz Week\, the definitive guide to nation
 al airplay.\n\nBaratta’s last recording\, “Looking Back\,” released
on Savant Records in February 2025 with his working band\, explores such t
unes as Jimi Hendrix’s “Purple Haze”\, James Brown’s “I Feel Goo
d”\, The Beatles’ “Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds”\, Led Zeppelin
 ’s "Whole Lotta Love”\, Aretha Franklin’s “Respect”\, and five o
ther rock classics. The arrangements by pianist Bill O’Connell are absol
utely swinging affairs with a fresh unique approach and a funky Latin Jazz
feel.\n\nNever one to rest on his laurels\, Baratta keeps pushing the env
elope and presenting musical projects that inspire listening from differen
t perspectives. Hearing this band live is truly a treat for the ears and y
ou don’t want to miss an opportunity to see them perform.\n\nOn May 22\,
  2026 Baratta’s latest recording\, a very unique\, fresh and modern appr
oach to Charlie Parker’s music will be released. This is sure to turn so
me heads.\n\n\nReservations suggested\; call 845-855-1300 to book your tab
 le.\n\n
