DESCRIPTION:Anda Union performs indigenous music from the Inner Mongolian g
 rasslands.\n\nAs with all nomads the Mongols have an oral culture\, passed
  on generation to generation in stories\, music and songs and thus Anda Un
 ion sing their history. The band’s thoroughly addictive combination of M
 ongolian musical styles is a reflection of their roots.\n\nFormed in 2000\
 , Anda Union have influenced a generation of young Mongolians in Inner Mon
 golia as traditional music flourishes in the capital. Hailing from differi
 ng ethnic nomadic cultures\, the ten strong band unite tribal and music tr
 aditions from all over Inner Mongolia. They do do so by bringing a wide ra
 nge of musical instruments and vocal styles together in a fusion that Geng
 his Khan himself would have been proud of.\n\nThey were chosen to appear o
 n a Chinese version of “The Voice” and blew everyone away. The show is
  called “The Big Band\,” and in the first round they went up against 2
 6 rock bands. They performed their big song\, “Jangar” in Mongolian wi
 th all their throat singing and horse head fiddles\, and they were voted n
