 lmer\, Peter Gabriel\, and Nona Hendryx.\n\nStepping out on his own\, he

 wer.\n\nWriting songs for George Benson and having songs on national telev
 ision got Falcon noticed by The SongWriters Hall of Fame\, which honored h
 im with the Abe Olman Scholarship Award for Songwriting.\n\nFor his compos
 ition\, Woke Up Cryin’\, Falcon became an International Songwriters Comp
 etition semi-finalist and also landed him a nomination for an Independent
