Description
Rhett Tyler ~ guitarist, songwriter, vocalist and producer ~ is best known for his explosive style of scorching modern blues guitar and high-octane, house-rocking live performances. His music is certainly rooted in the tradition of blues, but Rhett also incorporates jazz, rock and gospel influences to create an innovative modern musical blend with his signature guitar style. Rhett has shared billing with many distinguished blues artists, including Johnny Winter, Delbert McClinton and John Hammond. John Swenson of Rolling Stone calls Tyler "a powerful front man, in the tradition of Johnny Winter [and] Jimi Hendrix. Rhett Tyler is the certain face of future blues."
More about Rhett Tyler
Ruby Hogg: An internationally accomplished lead guitarist, Rob's edgy chord structures and captivating riffs have been tearing up stages across the U.S. and abroad, playing with blues greats Buddy Guy, Albert King and Johnny "Clyde" Copeland. He also spent decades on the road opening for Jefferson Starship, Blue Oyster Cult, The New York Dolls, and George Lynch/Lynch Mob to name a few. Sean (bass) studied jazz guitar at the University of Bridgeport, but went on to form rock bands which toured the Eastern USA, most notably Atlas and Gazzara. Since the early '90s, Aaron (drums) has left a trail of destruction from Quebec to Florida, taking no prisoners with the various projects he's played with over the years.
"Rob's deep rooted blues riffs, colorfully textured rhythms and intense solo attack...combined with Sean's edgy, soulful and distinctive vocal delivery...along with a rock-solid and creative bass guitar bottom end...mixed in with Aaron's diverse influences and prolific conceptual and physical skills on drums create a very real, tangible, wide-appeal, 'current yet classic' overall sound." -Perfect Pitch Reviews
