THE CIRCLE: Songwriters In The Round

Long recognized as the premier open mic in the Hudson Valley, The Towne Crier Café has played host to the best singer-songwriters from NY State and the surrounding northeast area since 1988. Musicians travel great distances to be a part of this unique experience at the Café – one that encourages collaborations and a deeper engagement with fellow musicians.

To further expand on the success of this, the Café is excited to announce “THE CIRCLE: Songwriters In The Round.”

“The Circle” brings the center stage to the floor of the Café’s dinning room for an intimate, all acoustic song circle where listeners and participants can more casually share the experience of live music. These song circles provide the listener with a closer look into the creative process, as well as the possibility of some very special moments of spontaneous interchange between musicians.

“The Circle” will be on the first Thursday of each month.
The order will be on a first come first serve basis. In order to avoid interruption it is requested that participants be present at start time.
Start time will be 7pm and end time at 9:30.
