SONNY LANDRETH
with special guest
GEOFF HARTWELL
SOLD OUT: Limited visibility bar seats will be available on a first come basis.

When it comes to Sonny Landreth, even Eric Clapton is a fan. "He’s probably the most underestimated musician on the planet and also probably one of the most advanced," he says. Landreth performed this past July at Clapton’s Crossroads Guitar Festival in Dallas. Just last year, Landreth also received another long overdue nod with a Grammy Award nomination for Best Contemporary Blues Recording for his seventh album, The Road We’re On, released on Sugar Hill Records.
Grant Street, Landreth’s latest effort for Sugar Hill, finds the slide guitar master on his first live recording and back at his old haunt in Lafayette, Louisiana. "Making this album was a homecoming," Landreth says. When Grant Street Dancehall opened its doors on the Fourth of July in 1980, Landreth performed with both bands that evening - Red Beans & Rice Revue and the king of zydeco, Clifton Chenier.
More about Sonny Landreth

Geoff Hartwell is a New York guitarist, songwriter, teacher and clinician. Growing up, he studied guitar fiercely and was playing NYC venues like CBGB's, Kennys Castaways and the Lion's Den by the time he was in his teens. In addition to studying music full-time at Hartwick College, he was also a Samuel J. Nelson scholarship recipient in recognition of his academic aptitude. After music school, Hartwell toured internationally in Europe with a rock musical production of "The Birds" and travelled through Australia and New Zealand. Geoff has been a Premier Guitar Faculty in the music department at the Northern Westchester Center for the Arts, and is a long-time faculty member at the National Guitar Workshop’s main campus in Connecticut. In 2007 he taught a seminar called “Sounds of the Slide Guitar Masters” with special guests Sonny Landreth and Cindy Cashdollar in Austin. This led to a sold-out show in New York with the Geoff Hartwell Band and Sonny Landreth performing together again. With the release of his CD, "Perfect Stranger" Geoff Hartwell has "distinguished himself as an up and coming musician and songwriter with some serious slide guitar chops". -MORE SUGAR! Magazine.
